I was tired. Tired of being the “big” pretty girl, tired of the way I had to put my shoes on, tired of just being tired. No matter what I did I was always gaining weight. I would try to lose and gain more back. I would buy the latest weight loss drink, pill, coffee, any fad; I was there looking for that miracle diet. I spent thousands and thousands on just being disappointed and heavier everyday. I was just done. I stepped on the scale and numbers I never saw before appeared. How did I do this to myself? I was told about the “sleeve” and I knew this was going to be the tool, I would finally be successful. I researched as many places as I could, I talked to as many people as I could and my heart told me that the Obesity Control Center was the place I was going to get my life back at. I contacted the clinic, made my deposit and knew this was exactly where I needed to go and I went. Alone.
