All my life I had been battling my weight, I can remember being just a little girl and feeling fat. I had been big my whole life but after I had my two daughters my weight started to get out of control. At my heaviest I weighed 280lbs that’s when I decided that something had to change.
I couldn’t walk anywhere without breathing like I had just ran a mile, I couldn’t sit on the floor to play with my infant and toddler because my back pain was so bad. I couldn’t do much without having to complain about something, I felt terrible about myself and sometimes would just cry when I looked in the mirror.
When I found out about the OCC from a couple of friends that had the Gastric Sleeve surgery I knew that it was something I had to do! Since my surgery on Nov 5th 2015 I have lost 102 lbs and I am feeling happiness and excitement about life that I never knew possible! I am finally healthy, I am finally confident and most of all happy!
